DISCUSSION...A cluster of storms across southern Alabama has recently evolved into a bowing line segment along Gulf Coast. A moist environment downstream of this line with 30-35 knots of effective shear (per EVX VWP) will sustain some damaging wind threat as it moves into the western Florida Panhandle this morning. Expect this line to eventually weaken as it moves into more stable, easterly flow across the central Florida Panhandle later this morning as expanding cloudcover/stratiform rain overspreads this region in the next few hours. A few damaging wind gusts are possible within this line over the next few hours, but no severe thunderstorm watch is anticipated. ..Bentley/Smith.. 05/29/2025 ...Please see www.spc.noaa.gov for graphic product...
